here's the new hives video, courtesy of nme.com. i think the video sucks... i say play it, but close your eyes and just grin at the goodness of the song. ill dispell any curiosity-- the fat guys still fat, pelle still thinks hes mick jagger, and the rest are still anonymous and dressed alike. that said, even though i thought i was over the hives, im fuckin psyched to see em this summer.

lars from metallica explains why hes a cocky geezer fuck. the poor thing was too grizzled on the road to bang the skins at the download festival. he had an "episode" on the band's flight over, and im guessing it involved seeing those little napster faces flapping around his skull. apparently being old gives you an excuse to be both a pussy and a dick.
